Wild Child Herb Shop recognizes that children are our future farmers, gardeners, and homesteaders.
Our goal is to educate children about:

The importance of the environment, sustainability practices, and how to conserve resources.

Caring for plants and maintaining a garden.

Independence and creativity.

Photosynthesis, seed production, and other scientific concepts.

Using math skills to plan a garden layout.
-
Keeping a garden journal to read and write about their experiences.

Leadership skills through participation in the group.

Developing skills that can be useful later in life.

Raising test scores, especially in science and math.

Developing a love of gardening that can lead to future hobbies and careers.
